The results of the second annual Texas Christian University Study Abroad Photo Contest are in, and you can have a look at the winning entries (and the runners up) here.
TCU's Center for International Studies arranges for Horned Frogs to spend a semester or summer abroad, studying in places such as London (UK), Florence (Italy) and Seville (Spain). Since they're over there anyway, the TCU folks figured, why not sponsor a photo/essay contest and get these globetrotting students to submit their thoughts and pictures? Thus these winning submissions.
A total of 63 entries were submitted by 32 students who spent time abroad (in any of 35 countries) last year. TCU boasts that over 25% of their enrollment have "an international experience" while earning their degree, which is a pretty high percentage when stacked up against the national average (which they put at about 1%).
