Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle terminated Police Officer Noemy Perez Thursday during a disciplinary hearing. It is alleged that Officer Perez engaged in adverse conduct, which led to her arrest for driving while intoxicated on November 6, 2006, in Carrollton, Texas.

Officer Perez was assigned to the Southwest Patrol Division at the time of the arrest and had been with the Department since August 2000.

Officer Perez has the right to appeal this decision.
