Man who allegedly sets fire in Dallas home gets beaten with a bike

A bicycle is kind of an awkward thing to beat someone with. You'd think there was something better lying around, like the can of gas the guy used to set the fire.

A man allegedly set a bag of clothes on fire in a Dallas home Thursday evening and threw gasoline into the flames. According to Dallas PD, after witnesses saw him setting the fire they confronted him and started beating him with a bicycle.

Pavel Lishin, says:

My bike got stolen a few months back, and I promised myself that if I see the thief riding it around the neighborhood, I'd pull him off the bike and then beat him into a coma with it. I'm glad that there's someone I can talk to about proper technique.

People that steal bikes should be treated just like horse thieves used to be treated. A U-lock makes a handy noose. :)
