The Seventh Gently Used Book Sale is a book lovers' paradise, says C-FB ISD, that provides all types of books at cheap prices.
Over 80,000 items are expected at the sale, all of which were donated by the Dallas-Fort Worth area community. Most items are "gently used," but some books are new.
The sale will be held in the Trinity Valley Shopping Center, 2660 North Josey Lane, Carrollton 75006 (Josey Lane at George Bush Turnpike).
Just look for the big sign that says "Book Sale." And, if you miss the sign, look for the yellow school bus.
Volunteers from the PTA, Educational Foundation and the C-FB ISD will be on hand to help browsers, perusers and book hunters during the five-day sale.
Products available for sale are primarily hardback and paperback books in the following areas: Children's books (fiction, non-fiction), Adult books (fiction, non-fiction), Cookbooks, Coffee table books, and so on.
Donors also provide other such items as original videotapes, CDs, DVDs, and audio book (Cassettes, CDs), which will be individually priced.
The event's revenues raise funds for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Educational Foundation grants and scholarships and Council of PTA projects, including grants to the High School Post Proms.

GWAR / Kingdom of Sorrow / Toxic Holocaust Only lead singer Oderus Urungus (aka Dave Brockie) has stuck around since GWAR's start 23 years ago, but the huge costumes, raunchy and obscene lyrics, and fluids spraying into the audience are sure to be on full display as the metal band makes its return to Dallas.
