Brides-to-be fight over dresses in Richardson
In an epic clash of consumerism and cattiness, over 100 brides-to-be made a mad dash to find their "perfect" wedding dress at a fraction of its normal cost at Cappella Court in Richardson. Dresses that normally go anywhere from $349 to $1,000 were available for $99 apiece.
While the success of the event probably depends on which bride you talk to, it was apparently a voyeur's paradise -- women were reportedly stripping down to their underwear right in the middle of the sale due to lack of dressing room space. Sigh -- I'd like to thank my bride-to-be for having the good sense to stay far away from this kind of nonsense.

Needs more pre-emptive journalism. I might have been inclined to go see a free strip-show...

I might have been inclined to pick up a wedding dress on the cheap!

Good point. Especially since you can't fit into your old dress anymore.
