DALLAS Online education reseller Journey Education Marketing, Inc. announced today that its acquisition of CCV Software, headquartered in Vero Beach, FL, is now complete. You can never overstate the impact educational software has had on our nation's children
With the addition of the popular education reseller CCV Software to its business, JourneyEd will expand from serving higher education into the K-12 market. JourneyEd will create two divisions within the company: A higher-education and a K-12 division. CCV will become the K-12 division within JourneyEd.
“There is very little overlap between JourneyEd and CCV,” said Michael Fischler, Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of JourneyEd.com. “JourneyEd’s core business has been in the higher-ed space. CCV’s core business is in the K-12 space. Together, we now have a comprehensive solution for both K-12 and post-secondary institutions.”
“The complementary markets, expanded product lines and the integrity of the JourneyEd management team has the entire staff of CCV Software enthusiastic about the acquisition,” said Dr. Catherine C. Chandler, President and Chief Executive Officer, CCV Software.
