Dallas police find massive amount of cocaine in vehicle

There's no truth to the rumor that Tony Montana was passing through town.
There's no truth to the rumor that Tony Montana was passing through town.

On February 11 at about 4:00 a.m., two Dallas patrol officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the 2400 block of Walnut Hill with no one around it. Upon further investigation the officers located approximately 52 kilograms of cocaine inside the vehicle. Narcotics detectives were called to the scene and seized the drugs. The vehicle was impounded at the Dallas police auto pound. There are no suspects at this time. This is now an ongoing investigation and narcotics detectives will attempt to identify the owner of the drugs through various investigative techniques.

This is obviously a significant amount of drugs to be taken off the streets of Dallas. Narcotics detectives estimate the wholesale value at $750,000.

Pavel Lishin, says:

What does a suspicious vehicle look like?

And "further investigation" makes it sound like they either popped the trunk after looking around furtively, or someone left 52 kilos sitting in the back seat.
