A team of acrobats arrived in Dallas on Monday with no one meeting them at the airport. The Union Gospel Mission homeless shelter then received a call concerning the acrobats and went to pick them up and has been accommodating them.

Wow. They're in a good place. I and some friends had occasion to visit UGM last Saturday, where we also heard a talk from Liz Murray, the remarkable "homeless to Harvard" gal.
Anyway, UGM is a wonderful shelter -- Bill Thompson and his team do an amazing job of creating a home for the homeless and helping them gain the skills they need to have their own homes.
We ate lunch there too. I hope the acrobats got to sample the ridiculously rich "trash pudding."
