Head Coach June Jones announced nine additions to the Mustang football staff on Tuesday, February 12, hiring eight assistant coaches and a new Director of High School Relations.

Four assistants worked with Jones at Hawaii, including the new Assistant Head Coach/Offense, Dan Morrison. Jones' staff also includes former Warrior assistants Dennis McKnight (Offensive Line), Jeff Reinebold (Receivers) and Wes Suan (Running Backs).

On defense, Jones has hired Tim Hundley (Assistant Head Coach/Defense), Tom Mason (Defensive Coordinator), Bert Hill (Defensive Line) and Derrick Odum (Secondary).

"I said when I was hired that finding a strong staff would be of the utmost importance," said Jones. "I really feel like we've done that with these coaches. They bring a wealth of experience and each of them possesses that positive attitude we're going to instill in our players. They will be true assets to us as we restore this tremendous program."

Administratively, Jones has brought on former Rockwall Heath and Permian High School Head Coach Tam Hollingshead as his new Director of High School Relations. Additionally, Randy Ross (Director of Football Operations) and Steve Stigall (Director of On-Campus Recruiting) will remain on the Mustang staff.
