Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico welcomes new Artistic Director

The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico today announced the appointment of Marco Raygoza as Artistic Director. Mr. Raygoza brings dynamic experience as a dancer, choreographer and educator.
Mr. Raygoza's career as a dancer has spanned more than sixteen years and includes such notable companies as Ballet Ollimpaxqui, American Dance Company and the National Theater of the Performing Arts. In addition to dancing with the ANMBF Professional Company, Marco is also the instructor and choreographer for the ANMBF Children's Ensemble/Junior Troupe.
"Mr. Raygoza is passionate about helping young people become creative thinkers and stronger individuals through arts education," said Ana Herrera, Executive Director of the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico. Mr. Raygoza feels proud of leading a strong organization to greater accomplishments, building on successful programs that have served the community for thirty- three years. " With pride, culture and tradition, we can better our community" said Mr. Raygoza.
