Dallas to host 2008 Tejano Music Convention
The convention will bring more than 7,000 fans to the Dallas Convention Center from August 15-17.
Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, former Dallas Cowboy Tony Casillas, and Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce officials will gather on Thursday, Feb. 21 to announce that Dallas will host the 2008 Tejano Music Convention. The convention, which will bring more than 7,000 fans and industry leaders together for three days of workshops, awards, music, and an expo with more than 100 booths, will be held August 15-17 at the Dallas Convention Center.
