NTTA to send City of Dallas $1.54 million bill for Trinity Parkway
The costs of the Trinity Parkway have thus far exceeded original expectations, which, in itself, was pretty much expected. As such, the NTTA will pay the $1.54 million extra needed for the planning and design costs. Pursuant to a 1999 agreement, the NTTA will submit the amount for reimbursement by the City of Dallas.

*The extra money is needed because the firm's work has exceeded the scope of its contract, due to additional requirements from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and what the agency called "continuing political challenges."*
How dare actual engineers and people footing the bill take issue with your project! Charge 'em more!!
