An 18-year-old was driving west in the 1400 block of NW 22nd Street in Fort Worth when he reportedly left his car to approach a group of four teenagers. According to pieced together witness reports, the teens on the street flashed "gang signs" at the car. The driver yelled at them from his vehicle before getting out. After exchanging words, one teen in the group shot the lone driver and the foursome ran from the scene. The 18-year-old then got back in his car and drove to a nursing home in the 3700 block of Angle Avenue where his mother works.
Police believe the victim and the group of teens are from rival gangs.

Hey, I've got a since of humor, but a story about gang violence warrants a little more seriousness than you offered slipping in that old "West Side Story" PR photo.

Yeah, don't be so insensitive Erin. These are real gangs we're talking about here, with real families.
