UPDATEDx2: Dallas police officer killed in motorcycle accident
A Dallas police officer was killed early Friday when he lost control of his motorcycle. The officer was escorting the Hillary Clinton convoy.
Update: The Dallas Police Department has released the officer's information. Senior Corporal Victor Lozada-Tirado was an officer at the DPD since 1988. He is survived by his wife and four children.
A candlelight vigil will be held on Monday, February 25, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., at the Central Patrol Division, 334 South Hall Street, Dallas, Texas.
The funeral for Senior Corporal Victor Lozada has been set. It is on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas. There will be a public visitation on Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at the Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas.
