For its next season, FOX's drama series "Prison Break" will, alas, be moving its production from North Texas to LA.

The show began shooting in Dallas after its first season in Chicago, with a total of 35 episodes shot within the D-FW area. The DMN estimates the economic boon from the show was #122.5 million.

The Dallas Film Commission says it'll do whatever it takes to keep the show here.

While it seems no one in the area cared much for the show, it's a kinda nice thing to have around, what with the potential for hysteria-causing downtown shootouts.
