Arlington teen arrested after hitting car head-on and killing driver Saturday

ARLINGTON — Brandon Lee Burchfield, 17, was charged with intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault after he hit a Ford Taurus head-on and killed its driver on Saturday.
His pickup swerved into traffic at South Collins Street and Debbie Lane. The driver, 38, was a mother with two children, who are in the hospital in good condition. A passenger in his truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
