Lifetime filming movie about McKinney cheerleading scandal in New Orleans
MCKINNEY Lifetime Television is making a TV movie about the McKinney cheerleading scandal called Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal.
The movie, which documents the 2006 scandal that led to the resignations of principal Linda Theret and assistant principal Richard Brunner as well as the departure of cheerleading coach Michaela Ward, is filming in New Orleans and will air this summer, starring Tatum O'Neal as the principal and Ashley Benson as the cheerleading coach.
