Kitchen 1924 in Lakewood center re-institutes Sunday Hangover Brunch
From noon until 3 p.m. every Sunday, Kitchen 1924 invites diners back to the Hangover Brunch. Owner Shawn Horne wants to help Dallas-ites nurse their hangovers with the restaurant’s Bloody Mary bar and $10 all-you-can-eat buffet.
The menu changes weekly to utilize the freshest market ingredients available. A few of the popular menu items include:
Bacon Corn Bread, Beef Cheek Hash, Farmers Market Quiche, Farmers Market Omelet, Fricken’ (Fried Chicken), Gouda Scrambled Eggs, Kitchen 1924 Homemade Sausage, Tenderloin Sloppy Joes, and Tilapia with Curry Mashers.
Guests receive a free pair of sunglasses to provide shade from the glaring daylight. Table centerpieces are made with Excedrin, Tums, and Pepto Bismol.
The restaurant recently changed its hours to a dinner-only service.

So happy that brunch is back at Kitchen. The sloppy joes are like heaven on a bun.
