Mansfield approves new school zones, principals
After parents expressed concerns about moving to a new elementary school, some of whom have been moved once or twice already, the Mansfield ISD Board of Trustees approved a new school attendance zone map. Several parents approved the zone because it kept their kids at Daulton Elementary. Zoning maps were presented to accommodate the new elementary school, Cabaniss. (For more info on the zones, click link above.)
Additionally, two principals were approved. Gema Padgett, an assistant principal at Jones Elementary will take over the head position at Cabaniss. Lamar Goree will move from Danny Jones Middle School to Summit High School next fall.
