New episode of Rowlett on the Move now on cable TV and DVD

ROWLETT The new episode of "Rowlett On The Move", hosted by Mayor John Harper is now airing on RTN16, the City’s cable access channel, and is available for check out on DVD at the Rowlett Public Library and for purchase at the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall for viewing at home. City Council Work Sessions and regular Council Meetings are also available on DVD.
The current episode of "Rowlett On The Move" features an interview with City Manager Craig Owens and covers topics including economic development efforts, transportation issues, capital improvement projects, and a new type of city budgeting being proposed for the fiscal year 2008-09 called Budgeting for Outcomes.
This month’s program also features an interview with Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Todd Gottel as he addresses economic development efforts underway in Rowlett. All RTN16 programs are produced by the City’s Communication Department.

"Rowlett On The Move!" Hosted by Mayor Harper. Monday - Friday @ noon & 6 p.m., Sat. & Sun. @ 11:30 a.m. & 7 p.m.
Regular City Council Meeting Monday & Thursday @ 6:30 a.m. & 7 p.m., Sundays @ 12:30 p.m.
City Council Work Session Fridays @ 6:30 a.m. & 7 p.m., Saturdays @ 12:30 p.m.
Special Meetings Tuesdays @ 6:30 a.m. & 7 p.m.
Please also watch the Veterans’ Park Flag Pole Dedication Ceremony honoring US Congressman Sam Johnson that took place on Saturday, February 16 in Rowlett. It follows every airing of the Council Meetings. A new Code Enforcement informational video/news block is also being aired prior to every airing of “Rowlett on the Move”.
