TCU track’s Peoples finishes fourth in pentathlon at Mountain West Championships

Meaghan Peoples participated in five events on Thursday to finish fourth overall in the pentathlon with 3,680 points on the first day of competition at the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships. The junior was the lone Frog in competition on Thursday at the Cadet Field House.

Peoples, a native of Weatherford, Texas, competed in five events, which included the 60-meter hurdles, women's high jump, women's shot put, women's long jump and the women's 800-meter run. The junior won the 800-meter run for the second-consecutive year with a time of 2:18.47 to close out the pentathlon event in fourth out of 12 competitors.
