New Year’s event in Victory Park gets boost from Dallas Stars’ fans exiting game
DALLAS Fans exiting the Dallas Stars' game helped boost turnout at the Big D New Year's Eve hoo-ha at Victory Park.
A representative from the Dallas County Sheriff's office said that early turnout was lower than expected. But once the Dallas Stars' game ended at around 10 p.m., things picked up and everyone could finally start saying "just like Times Square" without sounding like a horse's ass.
