Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district develops new parent-controlled food-monitoring lunch system

A new online service allows parents in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district to monitor their children's lunch-time purchases.

Parents can deposit money into the account, check their balance and view a list of each individual item their kids bought to eat.

Online payment systems are being used more and more in North Texas and the country as a whole, as it allows for more students to pay for their lunches faster and have more time to eat.

While you're at it, with the rate of obesity, particularly in Texas, maybe someone should be monitoring our adults.
