— The Dallas Mavericks dominated a top-tier team on a night when the referees put the whistles away, defeating the Pistons 102-86 Wednesday night at the AAC. Shooting at a ridiculous 57% clip, including an astounding 62.5% from the three point line, the Mavericks improved to 24-11 and dropped the Pistons to 26-9.

As usual, Dirk Nowitzki led all scorers, shooting an efficient 10-for-15 en route to putting up 23 points and 9 rebounds. Strangely, Dirk only had two free throws all game, on a night when both teams combined for just 26 free throw attempts.

Devin Harris had a good game, scoring 19 points, and was helped by volume shooters Jason Terry and Jerry Stackhouse, who both added 15 apiece.

Between Harris (2 for 3), Nowitzki (2 for 3), Terry (3 for 3) and Stackhouse (3 for 4), the fearsome foursome went 10-for-13 from the three point stripe, a rarity against a Pistons defense that normally gives no open looks.
