Arlington branch of Terminix pays $95,000 race discrimination settlement
ARLINGTON According to a story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears that the Arlington branch of pest-control company Terminix has settled a race discrimination and retaliation suit for $95,000.
The suit alleges that Terminix refused to promote three qualified African-American males, instead giving the promotions to individuals who were not state-certified. Additionally, one of the African-Americans was fired in retaliation when he opposed the discrimination.
