As part of the Tandy Executive Speaker Series, the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University welcomes Kip Tindell on Jan. 23, 2008.
Mr. Tindell is chairman and CEO of the Container Store, whose first location opened in Dallas in 1978. Since then (now with 40 stores and counting) the company has become known as one of the best places to work, thanks to its progressive, employee-empowering corporate culture. 2007 fiscal year sales are expected to top $600 million, which probably has a lot to do with another corporate value: customer service.
Brace yourselves, night owls: this speaking event is a breakfast thing, taking place from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. at the Dee J. Kelly Alumni & Visitor Center (2820 Stadium Drive on the TCU campus).
Open-seating tickets to attend run $20; a reserved table for eight will set your group back $250. Register here by Friday, January 18.
