2008 Fashion at the Park
- When: Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 7 p.m.
- Where: NorthPark Center, 8687 North Central Expressway, Dallas
- Cost: $25 - $150
- Age limit: Not available
Hot off the heels of 2007’s premiere spring and fall events, NorthPark Center’s Fashion at the Park, presented by Cadillac, celebrates its one year anniversary with another iconic event. Featuring the best of 2008 spring, summer and pre-fall collections from Wednesday, March 26 – Saturday, March 29, Fashion at the Park welcomes 15 top designer shows and events to their luxury fashion tent complex.
Offering the public an exclusive experience usually reserved for celebrities and fashion-insiders, Fashion at the Park is an unprecedented opportunity to view the latest fashions first and “shop the shows.” Don’t miss the front row action of Fashion at the Park – tickets go on sale to the public February 1 at www.northparkcenter.com.
“Seeing a collection in a runway show is very different from viewing it in a boutique,” said fashion icon and internationally celebrated designer Oscar de la Renta, who marks his third season with Fashion at the Park. “Fashion at the Park is a wonderful opportunity to show the complete collection as it was featured on the runway to an audience who may not have been able to see it in New York, and it gives those customers a chance to purchase the collection right off the runway in our NorthPark Center boutique.”
The 19,000 square-foot luxury tent complex, located between Nordstrom and Macy’s, will house day and evening runway shows featuring the latest collections. And don’t forget the after parties – bebe and Diesel keep the glamour going into the night following their runway shows. Head back into the Cadillac Design Gallery and enjoy DJ-spun tracks, champagne and cocktails.
