Fort Worth council to consider ban on dog tethering

Leaving chained dogs unattended would bear a $2000 fine

— Fort Worth city council members are expected to vote Tuesday on an ordinance that would make it illegal for dog owners to leave their animals unattended on a chain or rope. Irving and Austin have adopted similar laws.

Dallas has something similar, but as you might expect, it's only half way there: not after 11 pm apparently.
