Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas (CADD) announce their 2008 Art Fair
Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas (CADD) is pleased to announce the second annual CADD Art Fair 2008 featuring the city’s foremost art dealers will take place at Three Three Three First Avenue in Dallas, Texas from May 30 – June 1, 2008. CADD ARTFAIR 2008 will emphasize contemporary art by emerging talent as well as established artists from around the world. In addition, the new 40 page, 2008 CADD Art Guide to Dallas, will be complimentary to all art fair guests.
CADD ARTFAIR 2008 exhibitors include: And/Or Gallery, Conduit Gallery, Craighead-Green Gallery, Holly Johnson Gallery, Pan-American Art Projects, Gerald Peters Gallery, The Public Trust, Road Agent, Valley House Gallery and Sculpture Garden, Marty Walker Gallery, and Barry Whistler Gallery.
The CADD ARTFAIR will again be held at Three Three Three First Avenue, a beautifully restored loft-style venue near Deep Ellum, complete with spectacular views of the downtown skyline. The historic building, near the major intersection of Canton Street and Exposition Avenue, will provide an intimate and relaxed atmosphere for viewing contemporary art. Presenting Sponsor of the CADD ARTFAIR 2008 is Three Three Three First Avenue.
A portion of the proceeds from the CADD ARTFAIR 2008 will go toward a CADD Scholarship given to a graduating senior student from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas.
Schedule of Events:
- May 30 7-10pm Vernissage $60 per person by invitation only
- May 31 12–5pm Fair Day $10 per person open to the public
- June 1 12–5pm Fair Day $10 per person open to the public
Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas (CADD) was formed for the purpose of promoting the advancement of contemporary art in the Dallas cultural community. CADD includes the city’s foremost contemporary visual art galleries. Members are committed to the highest standards of contemporary art exhibition, while recognizing the importance of integrity and responsibility in working with artists, collectors, museum professionals, and educators. In support of the Dallas visual art community, CADD will develop additional events and programs throughout the year.
