Dallas-based Peerless Mfg. Co. subsidiary wins $2.3 million contract for separation equipment
DALLAS Peerless Mfg. Co. today announced that its subsidiary, Peerless Europe Limited, was awarded a contract valued at approximately $2.3 million, for the design and supply of separation equipment. These separators will remove entrained liquid from the gas as part of a methanol production process at a chemical plant now under construction in Egypt. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of fiscal year 2009.
Peter J. Burlage, Chief Executive Officer of the company, stated, "We are very pleased that Peerless' leading technology has been selected for this project. This contract award is representative of the worldwide demand for energy and industrial infrastructure that is contributing to the growth of our separation and filtration as well as our pollution control business segments."
Peerless Mfg. Co. is engaged in the business of designing, engineering, manufacturing and selling highly specialized products used for the abatement of air pollution and products for the separation and filtration of contaminants from gases and liquids.
