Fort Worth Star Telegram redesigns its Web site
The Fort Worth Star Telegram has made over its Web site. Drop-down menus, thumbnail pictures, and multimedia presentations! Yikes. They do their best to explain it all with lots of sentences that read like this: "The directory that used to run down the left-hand side of the home page is now accessible through the tabs at the top of the page." and "As with many Web sites, Star-Telegram.com has such a wealth of content and interactive functions that helping you find what you are interested in is a never-ending mission." It's a mission!

Huzzah for the Star-Telegram! It's ad-intensive, but not nearly as egregiously so as the Dallas Morning News. The article pages are clean and readable, and there is a bona-fide printable view to boot (also unlike the DMN). This Dallasite will be getting her news from Fort Worth.

Wow. Glass houses / stones and all that, but does no one test FireFox before rolling out an upgrade?
