Carrollton school board and city council hold first joint meeting
City wants to offer students internships
CARROLLTON In their first joint-meeting Tuesday, the Carrollton City Council proposed an internship program to the Carrollton-Farmers Branch school board. High school students would get experience needed for employment with the city. The city and district also shared their goals for economic and academic improvement, respectively.
