Dallas’ Stoneleigh Hotel puts its old sign back, symbolizing end of renovation
The Stoneleigh, which is on the tail end of a months-long renovation, stuck its rickety old sign back on the roof, an act that has the kids over at Belo pretty darn excited. They say that the sign was lifted up in six pieces. A spokeswoman says that the sign-lifting was canceled multiple times due to weather, so the sign actually went up on January 12. The Stoneleigh is currently scheduled to re-open in February, with new restaurant Bolla.
