For the 2008 season, Stage West will be presenting all of their works in their new Stage West Theatre. To start it all off, The Clean House previews and opens this week, running from January 24 - February 24. The "seriously romantic comedy" previews on Thursday, January 24 and Friday, January 25 for the nice price of $15. Once the show opens on January 26, tickets will then be $18-28 with the option of $5 student rush tickets available 30 minutes before each performance.

Busy doctors Lane and Charles really want a clean house so they hire a maid named Matilde. The only problem is, she hates to clean. Cleaning makes her sad. However, Lane's sister Virginia loves to clean. Problem solved? Not quite, in this surprising, romantic, and funny Pulitzer Prize finalist from a remarkable new playwright, Sarah Ruhl.

The show stars Emily Scott Banks, Pam Dougherty, Bill Jenkins, Judy Keith, and Sylvia Luedtke, and is directed by Jim Covault, who also did the set design. Costumes are by Jim Covault & Peggy Kruger-O'Brien, lighting design by Michael O'Brien, and props and set decoration by Lynn Lovett.

And because of the whole romantic theme of the piece, Stage West will be holding a special Valentine's Day performance. Purchase tickets online or by calling 817-784-9378.
