Arlington Lieutenant to become Lancaster Police Chief
Lancaster City Manager Rickey Childers has made a recommendation to the Lancaster City Council that it approve Keith Humphrey as the new police chief.
The vacancy was created when former chief Dan Shiner resigned in July 2007 to take a job in Texarkana, Texas.
The council will vote on the approval of Humphrey at their regular meeting Monday Jan. 28.
Humphrey is currently a Lieutenant in the Arlington Police Department and has nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience
