Four Dallas libraries to offer Sunday hours
New Sunday operating hours will start Feb. 3 at four Dallas Public Library branches.
The four branches are: Casa View, 10355 Ferguson Road; Kleberg-Rylie, 1301 Edd Road; Mountain Creek, 6102 Mountain Creek Parkway; and Timberglen at 18505 Midway Road. The branches will be open Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. in addition to their current weekly hours.
“Expansion of operating hours is a reflection of our mission; to make our libraries accessible to more people,” said Assistant Library Director Miriam Rodriguez. “We hope that families who may have found it hard to get to the library during the week will take advantage of this opportunity to find out what their branch has to offer.”
The four libraries will join the Central Library, 1515 Young St.; Hampton-Illinois, 2951 S. Hampton Road; Fretz Park, 6990 Belt Line Road; Audelia Road, 10045 Audelia Road; Walnut Hill, 9495 Marsh Lane; and Pleasant Grove, 1125 S. Buckner Blvd., in offering Sunday service.
