Dallas Mavericks 90, Denver Nuggets 85
Dallas wins over Carmelo-less Nuggets team.
DALLAS The Dallas Mavericks won despite a less-than-stellar game Sunday night, beating the Denver Nuggets 90-85 at the AAC. Helped by the lack of the Nuggets' Carmelo Anthony, the Mavs were able to flat out outplay the Nuggets, outshooting and outrebounding Denver en route to their 30th win.
The Mavs were led by Dirk Nowitzki, who scored 32 points on 12-of-17 shooting, along with 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. Jason Howard added 20 points, 8 boards and 5 assists.
Mavericks' sparkplug Devin Harris scored 6 points before leaving the game with a possible sprain.
