TCC Southeast Drama announces spring 2008 productions
Tarrant County College's Southeast Drama Program has just released the shows they will be performing this spring. Both shows take place in the Roberson Theatre on campus and tickets (free-$6) can be reserved by calling the box office at 817-515-3799:
- Proof from February 28 - March 1. Following the death of her brilliant but unstable father, Catherine must deal with the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire, and the attentions of her father's former student, Hal. Over the long weekend that follows, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: How much of her father's madness—or genius—will she inherit? Directed by Jacque Wall.
- Nunsense from April 18 - 19 & April 24-26. Nunsense tells the story of the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who put on a show as a fund raiser to bury the other nuns accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia. Winner of four Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Off Broadway Musical in its original New York production, this zany musical is a treat for all. Directed by Pert Durapau.
