Theatre Three knows how much Dallas audiences love I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. It had a huge run in 2000 on the main stage, and then moved into Theatre Too that fall and played there for an three more years. Since then, this successful musical revue returns annually for an encore run and manages to find new enthusiasts who pack the place to laugh and cheer.
The production is presented in the form of a series of vignettes connected by the central theme of love and relationships. With a few exceptions, the scenes stand independent of the others, but suggest an overall arc to relationships throughout the course of one's life. A first date, for example, comes before scenes dealing with marriage, and scenes dealing with marriage come before those dealing with child rearing.
The show was supposed to run until February 17, but due to its popularity, the company has added 5 more performances and will now close on February 24. Purchase tickets online or by calling 214-871-3300.
Plus, if you are looking for a great Valentine's Day gift, the company is offering a deal where you get two tickets to I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and a one night stay at The Fairmont Hotel with in room wine and dessert. Contact Cory Norman at 214-871-3300 ext. 208 to reserve this.
