Plano teenagers questioned by Secret Service about fake ID ring
I am shocked -- SHOCKED -- to hear that high school students might be involved with fake IDs.
PLANO The Secret Service took a break from defending the president last week and turned their attention to several Plano West Senior High School students, questioning them about a fake ID ring that was allegedly being run by an Allen resident. The Secret Service also confiscated several fake IDs from the students, which the DMN helpfully tells us "underage kids use to buy alcohol." Really? 'Cause I thought they were using them so they could vote for John Edwards or Rudy Giuliani Barack Obama or John McCain.

cheez, says:
Good call.
When I first saw the headline and skimmed the article in the paper yesterday, I immediately thought of the Breakfast Club, when Anthony Michael Hall's character explains, matter-of-factly he has his ID so he can vote.

Pavel Lishin, says:
" Phil Roth, a Plano parent, heard news of the investigation Wednesday night. His daughter, Taylor, attends Jasper High School in Plano.
"I hadn't thought that kids that young would necessarily be interested in fake IDs," he said."
Aw, I bet his kid doesn't drink at all! Sure, he comes home at 2 o'clock smelling like cloves, but he's probably just the designated driver for the other kids!
