After losing director, Fort Worth homeless center settles on contract replacement
The Day Resource Center is one of the only places Fort Worth's homeless population can turn to during daytime hours when needing restrooms, showers, or laundry services, as pointed out in the S-T. The center lost its executive director recently to San Francisco (damn hippies!). Instead of hiring a full-time replacement, the center turned to its new collaborative partner, the Recovery Resource Council, for contract replacements. According to the linked article, the center does not plan to scale back any of its services.

I have a great deal of respect for anyone who does that job. As a fire alarm contractor I have toured all those FW homeless facilities before and I think they do a great job in a very very scary situation.
