FORT WORTH The Radisson Hotel Fort Worth South, recently acquired by Chhatrala Group, today announced the appointment of Moses Qidwai as the property's new general manager. Qidwai brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the position.
"I am pleased to become part of the Radisson brand and look forward to building the business of the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth South as a valued member of the community," said Qidwai. "Along with the talented staff, our goal is to ensure that this hotel continues to deliver the highest-quality, Yes I Can! service culture that our guests expect from their Radisson experience."
The Chhatrala Group prides themselves in their ability to adapt to a diversified spectrum of hotel properties while being recognized by its franchisers, investors, and clients for operational excellence. They have a strong and proven record of increasing hotel profitability and market share.
Under the new ownership/leadership team, the Radisson Fort Worth South, located at 100 Alta Mesa East Blvd in Fort Worth, will focus on providing visitors to the area with a full-service hotel experience that meets all of their needs. The hotel features several meeting rooms and a conference center to accommodate up to 1,200 people. In addition to an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, fitness facility and business center, the property also offers The Atrium Cafe and Lucy's Sports Bar.
"The property recently completed renovations to all of the public areas, including the lobby, meeting space, restaurant and lounge, business center and fitness center, and will complete room renovations by early November," said Dave Wilensky, Director of Development & Acquisitions for Chhatrala Group. "We believe that Radisson has a strong connection to the Fort Worth area and look forward to building a long relationship with the brand."
