Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson will hold a Youth Crime Prevention Summit in Dallas on Monday, July 21 from 1:30-4:00 p.m. at the Park South Family YMCA. The event will focus on combating crime and drugs in our communities and programs that offer positive alternatives and constructive guidance for young people.
The following participants are confirmed:
· Dallas District Attorney Craig Watkins
· Captain Sheila Carter-Bass of the Dallas Sheriff’s office
· Omar Jahwar and Antong Lucky of Vision Regeneration
· Joy Strickland of Mothers Against Teen Violence
· Clarissa King of Girls, Inc.
· Detective Monty Moncibais of the Dallas Police
· Playwright Dona Mitchell
