UPDATED: Duncanville boxer Luis Yanez trying to appeal Olympic rejection
On Friday, 19-year-old Luis Yanez, a 106 pound boxer from Duncanville, resumed his attempt to be reinstated to the U.S. Olympic boxing team. Yanez was kicked off in June when he missed three weeks of required training, a time when Yanez says he was attending to a serious family situation.
UPDATE: Appeal successful. Unfair Park has the update with insight.
