Toadies title track on No Deliverance hit airwaves this week
You have to hear it once. Pray to jebus that it's only once.
There's been a bit of hype, and a heap of skepticism, about the Toadies' first new album in seven years, No Deliverance, coming out on August 19. According to the band's blog post, the first single from the album, the title track, made its way to radio stations all over the country on July 10. No doubt The Edge has been or will be spinning it soon.
You can stream the song for yourself on the Toadies' site. My assessment? I choose to plead the 5th... and if I have to hear it again, use the 2nd.

Wow. That was atrocious. Open letter to the Toadies: your time has more than passed. Hang it up while you still can before you make me want to throw away my Rubberneck CD.

It sounds like Toadies, really. The only difference is the distorted vocals they borrowed from White Zombie in the 90's.
They should give it back.
