Arlington man wins spot at World Series of Poker’s final table
23-year-old Craig Marquis of Arlington - along with eight other players - outlasted 6,836 opponents at this year's World Series of Poker to make the final table, with a shot at the $9.1 million first prize.
Unfortunately for those excited to find out what happens next, there will be a brief intermission in the play - until November 9, actually, when the action will be televised for all to enjoy. Giving Craig plenty of time to "promote (himself) and generate hype," it says here.
Craig,.maybe you'd like to get in on one of our PegNews nickel-dime-quarter Saturday night dealer's choice matches while you wait? Might be good practice.
(Just let me know.)
