Dallas lawyer foils prisoner’s courthouse escape attempt
Peter Schulte ran for sheriff and serves as a reserve police officer. Looks like he knows how to handle criminals.
When Melvin Wayne Richardson, 35 - a felony defendant standing trial at the Frank Crowley Courts Building - punched his escorting bailiff in the face and made a run for it, attorney Peter Schulte tackled him before he could get very far.
Turns out Schulte ran for Dallas County sheriff on the Democratic ticket earlier this year, and in addition to being a lawyer, he currently serves as a reserve officer for the Murphy PD.
Bailiff Nancy Beggs was treated for her injuries at Baylor Hospital.

"Pete's practice focuses in the areas of Criminal Defense, Personal Criminal History Information Management (Non-Disclosures, Expunctions), and Family Law. The firm also offers experienced attorneys with practice areas in Wills/Probate and Civil Litigation."
Clearly, you need to either commit a felony, have a relative die, or sue someone...and you'll be his irresistible client. Perhaps you have an aunt or uncle you despise? Apparently Pete is a former Computer Forensic Investigator, so...
Setup a hit of someone in your bloodline on the intertubes, throw the hard-drive you saved all your plans to in a river, and ride the coat-tails of our justice system to love!

Ahh, thank you Doyle! For once I am 10 steps ahead of you! Nothing like a cute boy to get a girl motivated!
It seems that Mr. Schulte has a rather impressive resume. Also, a friend of a friend in the DA's office confirms that he is not married. I’m still waiting to hear back from my Oak Lawn sources to rule out any other involvements.
So, in true stalker fashion, I have most all of his stats. Now what? I toyed briefly with the idea of posing as Peg reporter and interviewing him for a “human interest story”, but not so good with the big fib. So…???

Yeah, figured they would have mentioned on his campaign page that he's happily married, blah blah blah, bible belt, etc if that was the case.
You could always punch a bailiff in the face and try for the great escape!
Unfortunately, I'm a bit disinclined to the idea of meeting peeps via courthouse connections. One of the aforementioned guano loco ex's worked for an area of the district courts while I was clerking for a firm in college. Granted, much different than tracking down a lawyer, but my bitterness gets the best of me.

But then that's probably what those dating sites are for, to skip the initial third degree ;o)

Simply need to find out when he has a court appointment, watch for him, have her walking down courthouse steps as he's walking up, nab her purse, hope his blow is only hemorrhaging rather than fatal, and go about our business.
I nominate you since she probably wouldn't drop charges against me. Also, need half your health insurance deductible & potential out of pocket expenses up front...
