Denton ISD increases meal prices for 2008-09 school year
DENTON Meal prices for students in the Denton Independent School District are increasing for the 2008-09 school year.
The elementary schools’ new lunch price will be $2.50, compared to last year’s price of $2.25. The new lunch price for secondary schools will be $2.75, whereas last year’s lunch price was $2.50. The new breakfast price at elementary schools will be $1.10 as opposed to last year’s price of $1. Secondary schools will experience a breakfast price increase from $1.25 to $1.35.
Free or reduced meal prices are available for students who qualify. For additional information contact the child nutrition office at (940) 369-0270.
