Flower Mound launching water conservation
FLOWER MOUND Due to increased demand compromising Flower Mound’s ability to ensure adequate water pressure during peak usage hours, the has implemented odd/even Stage Two Water Conservation measures for all residences and businesses:
- Addresses ending in even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8) and locations without addresses may water on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday
- Addresses ending in an odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) may water on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday
- No outdoor watering is allowed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for any address
The Stage Two Water Conservation Measures will remain in effect until further notice.
Flower Mound’s water system will continually be monitored during this period to ensure an adequate water supply and sufficient water pressure are available. For additional information or to obtain a copy of the Water Conservation Ordinance, please visit www.flower-mound.com or call 972-539-7378.
