Plano police find two stabbed victims; one victim dies; suspect charged with murder

— On July 14, at approximately 1 a.m., Plano police officers on routine patrol in the 1500 block of Central Expressway located a 24-year-old Hispanic male subject with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Additional investigation into this incident led Plano police officers to the Alta Vista Apartments, located in the 700 block of East 18th Street, where an additional Hispanic male was located lying on the ground also suffering from a stab wound. This victim was also transported to a local area hospital where he was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.

The second victim has been identified as Osbelio David Cabrera DeLeon, a 21-year old Guatemalan national, currently residing in Plano.

Plano police investigators have arrested and charged Marco Noe Fernandez Oliva, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, also a Guatemalan national currently residing in Plano, for stabbing both of the above victims. The suspect has been charged with murder with a bond of $750,000 and attempted murder with a bond of $150,000. The suspect has been transported to the Collin County Detention Center.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
